My new project.
Rebecca and I recently started making models. I went to a local Hobby Shop and picked up a few model cars and some supplies to get started and we did. I think I may have bitten off a little more than I can chew though. I started a Ferrari 575M Super America and it is insanely detailed. I had only done model planes when I was much younger and none of them required much painting. The plastic was pretty much the colour it needed to be. This car however is all white plastic with so many detailed parts that need different colours that I don't think I'll be done with it until Saturday or Sunday. I started Wednesday and worked on it for three hours and all I've finished is the engine. In my defence though, there are 18 individual parts on the engine (not including decals which I applied last night) that all needed to be painted, several of which required multiple colours. Here's some photos of it. Sorry for the crappy quality of the pictures, the camera I was using is retarded. I'll keep posting more pictures of the different stages of progress.

Oh my God! My brother has turned British!
Defence?? Colour?? Blimey!
Nice engine though. Don't let mom around it. :)
Ethan has been asking to get some model airplanes, but I don't trust myself to be able to help him. I'm just going to send him to your place, k?
Heh, I read far too many British Publications... I guess it's rubbing off. At least I don't call them "Tyres" yet.
I'd LOVE to do a model with Ethan. Y'know how I'm comin' out your way at the end of summer? Well, that's the perfect time. Find out what his favorite plane is so I can hunt one down. Trying to find just the right model is half the fun!
